Mentoring

Baton Exchange Mentors: Professional guides, spiritual allies.

Have you ever wondered…?

“How do I combine my faith with career growth and leadership development?”

“Are there Christian professionals who will listen and respond as a ‘sounding board’ to my faith and work questions?”

“Who can help me truly live my biblical worldview in all this cultural confusion?”

It’s what we do – equip Christian 20-something’s to integrate faith, work, and leadership toward a life of redemptive influence.

Our Mentoring. How it works:

  1. Exploratory Zoom conversation: Get to know you and discuss your professional and spiritual goals.
  2. Match you to a mentor by gender and occupational interest.
  3. Choose 3 – 4 personal growth areas for mentoring discussion and development.
  4. Actively participate in one, 90-minute mentoring call per month. Most protégés meet with their personal mentor* from 4 – 12 months, as mutually agreed.

*Baton Exchange Mentors are unpaid volunteers, vetted for their spiritual-professional maturity and life experience.

Mentoring conversations are guided by the Protégé’s unique growth goals and questions. Current events will also prompt real-time discussion of worldview as it applies to faith-career transparency. Protégés use our Ask Your Mentor resource to customize their growth experience.

“Thank you for matching me with my mentor, Dondra. She is an incredible lady and I really enjoy spending one hour a month with her. I’m learning a lot from Dondra. She asks great questions, she is a great listener, and gives very helpful advice. Also, I like the new curriculum a lot. It’s true that I get out of it as much as I put in it. So, if I don’t do much, I don’t get much out of it. It’s rewarding to see that some of the goals I wrote on PIP I am achieving, or at least making important steps toward achieving them. Thank you! :)”  Estera, Director of Internships, IFI. Author of Portraits of Integration

“I’ve had an awesome experience with my mentor! He’s challenged me and provided insights into new ways of thinking.”  Brad, President, Fisher Wealth Management
